Buzzers ELITE DAYS

Our ELITE DAY sessions offer children high-level coaching  delivered by 'elite' coaches.​ Below is a list of ELITE DAY sessions that we are running during the Summer 2024 holiday.

​

All ELITE DAYS are £60 per child, per session. As part of the price, all children will receive a Buzzers bag.

​

All ELITE DAYS are 10am to 4pm.​ All ELITE DAYS are aimed at children aged 7 to 14.

​

What to bring:  Packed lunch and refillable water bottle. All equipment will be supplied.

​

To ensure maximum participation and inclusivity, all ELITE DAYS will be capped at 14 children.

​

Our EXTENDED DAY HOURS (8.30am drop-off and/or 5.30pm pick-up) are available within the standard Camp day (please email info@buzzers.org.uk) to add these times to your ELITE DAY booking.

All ELITE DAYS will be based at our Beckenham Camp venue -

Clare House Primary School, Overbury Avenue, Beckenham, BR3 6PY

Track Running Facility

ATHLETICS

 FRIDAY 9th AUGUST 

 

Run by former Great Britain Athlete, CONRAD WILLIAMS, the session will focus around supporting and developing the children's running speed, agility, stamina, and technique.

 

Using fun and inclusive individual and team based activities, the children will experience what it's like to train like an Olympian!

Holding Ball & Racket

TENNIS

 FRIDAY 16th AUGUST 

 

The session will focus on improving the children's balance, agility and co-ordination through fun games, while learning the skills and strategies required to compete in a game of Tennis.

​

For this coaching session, it’s not about winning or losing, it’s about getting to grips with the basics.

​

Children will learn to serve, rally and score with a slow ball, as well as learning the movement and co-ordination skills needed for Tennis. The children will be encouraged to play fun competitions in teams and as individuals.

Fencer with Mask

FENCING

 FRIDAY 23rd AUGUST 

​

Run by former Great Britain Fencer, Nick Payne, the key benefits of this session will be around:

 

  • Developing hand-eye coordination

  • Developing speed and agility

  • Encouraging creativity

  • Improving concentration

 

Nick is the founder of Sword Fighting International and has fenced since he was 10 years old. Former British No1 and England Captain, he was reserve for the Barcelona Olympics and is a Commonwealth bronze medallist. Now retired from competitive Fencing, Nick is an International Referee and was one of the assistant referees for the Men's Foil Final at the London 2012 Olympics.

The children will experience Fencing through fun and inclusive games, learning the basic techniques and skills required to Fence like a pro!

​

Nick will explain the scoring system used in the Olympic format of the sport and children will get to compete against each other.

​

All equipment is supplied, including face guard and sword.​
